Welcome to the Cedar Valley High School Band website! We are dedicated to musical excellence and providing our students with a platform to showcase their talent and passion for music. Our band is committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students to grow as musicians and individuals. Through our engaging performances and community involvement, we aim to inspire a love for music and create unforgettable experiences for both our members and audiences.
One Band. One Sound. One Family
Cedar Valley High School is home to three outstanding concert ensembles—Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony—along with two dynamic Jazz Bands. Since opening in 2019, the Cedar Valley Band program has rapidly grown into one of the largest and most respected in Utah, consistently earning top ratings at regional and state competitions. Our students are known not only for their musical excellence, but for the energy, discipline, and pride they bring to every performance.

The Cedar Valley Percussion Ensemble has earned recognition as one of the top performing percussion programs in Utah. They consistently place among the top performers in the Percussive Arts Society of Utah competitions. In 2025, Cedar Valley made history as the only high school in the state to have all three percussion ensembles place in the top three of their respective categories—a remarkable accomplishment that showcases the depth and strength of the program.
The Crimson Regiment Marching Band continues that tradition of excellence. As one of the largest marching programs in the state, they have been finalists at the Bands of America St. George Regional every year since 2021—highlighted by a 3rd place finish in 2025 and a school-record high score. Their growth, both in size and achievement, reflects the dedication and heart of the students and staff behind the scenes.

Cedar Valley Color Guard are an essential and vibrant part of the Crimson Regiment Marching Band. In addition to their fall performances, they compete in the Utah Color Guard Circuit. The JV Color Guard team earned 1st place in state in their division in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons. In an exciting milestone for the program, the Varsity Color Guard will compete for the first time in school history at the Winter Guard International World Championship in Dayton, Ohio in March 2026.
Together, these ensembles represent a culture of excellence, growth, and opportunity—where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve at the highest levels.
