CVHS BANDS​

The Cedar Valley High School Band Program consists of three concert ensembles (Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, and Concert Band), three percussion ensembles, two Jazz Ensembles, and the Crimson Regiment and the Crimson Colorguard. All of our groups have been recognized for outstanding achievement. Recent recognitions include 2nd place at the UMEA Red Rocks State Marching Band Championship and Superior Ratings at both the Region Concert Band and Jazz Band festivals.

The program is under the direction of Mitch Hall (Director of Bands), Matthew Murphy (Percussion Director), Chandra Young (FMS Band Director and CV Assistant Director), and Kirsta Browne (Colorguard Director).

In the 2021-2022 school year, there will be over 450 students enrolled in the Combined Cedar Valley High School/Frontier Middle School Band Programs.
